You can first find Minecraft Sniffer Eggs by digging up suspicious sand in Warm Ocean Ruins with the new Paintbrush tool.

How to hatch Minecraft Sniffers

You can return to land to start the incubation process after you have found two to breed with. Crawler Eggs can hatch on any block in about 20 minutes, unlike Turtle Eggs, which hatch on sand.

Conversely, a Sniffer Egg in Minecraft will hatch twice as fast in 10 minutes if placed on a moss block.

Lush Caves, Overworld’s temperate cave biomes that grow under azalea trees, are where moss blocks spawn.

You need to look for oak-like trees with a yellow-green tinge and azaleas blooming all over their leaves to locate these trees. Find the lush cave by examining the ingrained dirt below.

Your Sniffer Egg will turn into a Snifflet, which is the young version of your Sniffer. The young passive mob will transform into a Sniffer after about 40 minutes, and then go for Pitcher Pods and Torchflower Seeds.

Sniffers can grow as many Pitcher Pods and Torchflower Seeds as they like, as long as they are surrounded by a 6×6 area of appropriate blocks.

Specifically, Torchflower Seeds is what is needed to breed Sniffers.

Crawlers can collect seeds and pods from any block that can support planting saplings.

Some of these blocks are Dirt, Grass Blocks, Podzol, Coarse Dirt, Rooted Dirt, Mossy Blocks, Mud, and Muddy Mangrove Roots.

Unlike when their eggs hatch, crawlers do not find seeds more quickly while grazing on blocks of moss.
